Bespoke wedding invitations carefully created based on your needs and requirements, and are for sure the best way to leave a unique first impression from the time your guests open the post. They also represent for them the first glimpse of your wedding day, and for you a long lasting memory that you can cherish forever.
Whether you already have an idea in mind or need my help in coming up with inspiration, we’ll work closely together to achieve the perfect look. There are so many options to choose from at different price ranges, from the more expensive hand-made paper with deckle edges, to beautifully tactile cards, or metallic foil finishes on smooth paper. To not mention accessories, like wax seals, silk or velvet ribbons, velvet jackets, pocketfolds, belly bands.
Even when it comes to illustrations you can go for a minimalist invitation set, or add unique design pieces like watercolour venue illustrations, line drawn maps, botanicals, geometric motifs, soft watercolour washes, and more.
I work under your guidance to accommodate all your special requests.
These custom design pieces can then most definitely be incorporated in you on-the-day stationery, to match the overall aesthetic and save you pennies in not having to start from the beginning.
Approx. turnaround 3-4 weeks depending on illustration required and printing methods.
Please get in touch at least 3 months (and anywhere up to 2 years in advance) before you would like to receive your items, to make sure I have space in my diary. A deposit of £50 (to come off the final invoice) is required to reserve my services.
Please fill out the enquiry form on the Say Hello page, and don't forget to add as much detail as possible relating to your requirements, including any picture for inspiration, if you have already a good idea of the look you want.
We will agree a suitable time for a 20 minutes phone call (or face to face, if we are nearby). During which we will discuss the design options in a bit more detail, as well as initial themes and colours.
Based on our conversation I will provide you with specific prices for what we discussed, as well as choices, in case you want to mix and match a few of the ideas to stay within budget.
If that all sounds good I will invoice a deposit of £50, which is to reserve my diary at the appropriate time to meet your deadline. The deposit is deducted from the final invoice (e.g. the day items if any).
When it's time to start designing, I will recap all the options agreed and we'll finalise numbers. I will send another invoice for 50% of the quote and from there I will keep you informed of progress of the designs, with fun sneak peeks of the illustrations and mock ups of all the elements.
Once you are happy with the final design, I will ask for one final check before you give the go ahead for production. At that time the remaining 50% payment is required for the items to be printed. It's important you triple check everything carefully, as any reprints will have to be charged separately.
And then I will make sure the items are delivered safely to your nominated address (whether yours or your guests').
